In the tub

Bathtime is always a kick in the pants.

Here is Bitty practicing her rock climbing moves or doing pullups, not sure which. After her bath, we were getting ready for bed and she starting having a fit about putting on her diaper (wants to be naked - uh oh!), and when I went to pick her up, she grabbed the railing of the changing table and wouldn't let go - so I let go! Though it may look like her foot is touching the bottom rail, she's just hanging there. Crazy kid.

One of the priceless Bitty expressions.

Sweet farmer's tan Adelaide!

Eric has taught her to grunt/growl - that combined with the crazy eyes and she's a little scary. Looks like she might bite, huh?

Bitty's First Oreo Cookie

Bitty is a good little eater. In fact, she's a total glutton - it's unbelievable that she's so skinny considering the food consumption. She ate all her lunch so Daddy decided to give her a cookie...

She made such a mess of herself and, of course, LOVED the Oreo. Which we eventually had to take away (which made her very angry) because she kept sticking the entire cookie in her yapper. Eric took it and broke the nasty, slimy Oreo into little pieces and she threw a tantrum and began throwing the pieces on the floor and at him.

Mmmmmm, cookie!

Cookie monster makes a quick move and nearly slimes JoMama & the camera.

Loving Hubby & Queen of Dirt enjoy their adult beverages whilst awaiting Uncle Russ' culinary delights.

Dad & Lynn Kingham

That small blurry thing in the photo is a cherry that Bitty has dropped... she ate entirely too many and I had to change entirely too many diapers.

Eric and Uncle Russ enjoying the view from the tip top of the property. Uncle Russ' shirt is really funny (he's a potato farmer) and the front says, "Get Baked." and the reverse has a picture of a baked 'tater and says "High on Antioxdants."

Bitty and I during our hike/four wheeler ride. Which resulted in a tick infestation that was beyond gross. What disgusting little creatures they are!

Trakker & The Mini Wolf

Uncle Russ and his girlyfriend, Candie, have 5 dogs between them.

This is Trakker, a 165 lb Brazilian Mastif. A gentle giant, he falls more into the small horse rather than large dog category (He's not done growing either!). He slimes just like the dog from the Beethoven movies.

This is Brie, she is a 3 lb Chihuahua. Uncle Russ calls her "Mini-Wolf." Adelaide spent the majority of her weekend chasing Mini-Wolf around the kitchen island. Bitty LOVED her. Mini-wolf is super cute and nice to babies.

Trakker backed himself up to Uncle Russ chair and sat in his lap...

Happy Birthday Uncle Russ

We spent the holiday in Orofino at Uncle Russ' and he is a patriot baby. We celebrated his birthday with barbeque & sinfully delicious chocolate cake!

More photos of the weekend to follow...

El Jardin aka Diggin' in Da Dirt

Here are some photos of our garden. I have yet to post anything on this topic and I spend A LOT of time digging around in our yard/garden.
The food & herb garden.

My favorite flower - Cockscomb. It looks like bright pink brains, huh?

The Horseradish & Onions.

My Sunflowers.

The Strawberry Patch.

The first ripe 'maters of the season. These are from the 'Bloody Butcher,' we also have planted Red Cherry, Sun Sugar, Nyagous, Early Girls, and Red Pear. I LOVE 'maters.

Cherry Pickin'

Our friends, the Gabriels, have a cherry orchard and invited us to pick to our heart's content. We ended up with three full lugs... that's almost 100 lbs. Then my Ma-In-Law and I canned 48 quarts the next day.
In order to pick and keep the now mobile Bitty out of trouble, I put her up front in the Mobywrap. Unbeknownst to me, she was picking cherries too! She made an adorable mess of herself.

This is likely too many photos, but she's too cute, and I couldn't choose between them.
