Another Birthday Celebration

Adelaide really did have a weeklong birthday celebration. It started on Friday and ended on Tuesday (her actual birthday). While in Ephrata for a visit we did it up at Nana & Grandad's.

Nana & Grandad got her a mirror for her room... as you can see she enjoys making faces at herself.

She's munching on "grass" here. Aunty Staci chopped the ladybug's head in half and tried to give Bitty the part with the eyes and antennae and Adelaide would have NONE of it. She said that Boss had to eat the eyes.

Baby Ru

Adelaide and Ruth. Ruth is 8 months or so and is a very sweet and quite adorable little gal. She spends most of her days crawling about her mom's Goin' Postal store. You can sneak a peek at their adventures (Trisha, Baby Ru, and their dog Shippin') at Photobooth of Ruth.

Miss Ruth was quite fascinated with Baby LindyJean. She was gentle and super curious. I asked Trisha if it was time for another and I quote, "I think I might throw myself off a cliff..." Quite frankly, the thought of another pregnancy for us gives me similar feelings. :)

We went to Ephrata on Sunday for Aunty Staci's Birthday Bash. We brought Bitty's dress up Belly Dancer get up for giggles.

Fun, frog, & fancy hair

While watering the cows we gathered out of doors to enjoy the fresh air... and some wine, apparently.

Here's the frog we almost killed rolling up the hose after giving our bovine friends some agua. Bitty was astonished.

Is it really too much to ask to have everyone looking at the camera, I'm not even insisting on smiles... maybe you could stop talking, Ma? I have a lot of photos of her mid-sentence - in the future I would like to see 'camera goes up, mouth gets closed.' :)

We tried to curl AddyLouHoo's hair... not entirely successful, but she was keen on gettin' fancy for Aunty Staci's birthday bash.

Crafty

If you spend any time with Aunty Staci, you are forced to be crafty and creative, whether you like it or not (don't worry - we loved it!).
