Here we are enjoying our ridiculous Walmart (I despise that store, but am, on occasion, forced to patronize its premises) baby crab floatie device in the neighbor's pool.

Howie's 40th

Last weekend we went to Portland for Eric's buddy's 40th birthday barbeque. Doug Howard is officially getting old. (You're next Eric!) I had the opportunity to meet a bundle of the Sun River Prepatory gang and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Strawberries

These are the first berries picked from our own plants!  Adelaide loves them.  Eric loves them.  Me too, what's not to love?  They are best eaten when just picked and slightly warm from the sun's light.  

Pedro the Berry picker cannot wait to visit the Queen of Dirt and gorge himself on the bumper crop of raspberries that will soon be ripening...

We had the opportunity to stop at the Pingetzer's before returning home this last weekend and all the girls were there, so all the babies were there!  Below is a photo of Patyon, Bitty, & Rylee.  They are a bit small to pay much attention to one another and when they do, you have to watch them like a hawk because the little ogres are not gentle with one another. 

Here is Bitty & Her Majesty, The Queen of Dirt, saying good morning to Ernie.  As you can see, Adelaide was not very fond of him... we'll keep trying!

A day for the girls... and Caleb.

I had some gals over for a day of food & Anne of Green Gables.  For dessert we had a coconut flan that I made and it was off the charts good.  I would liked to have taken a photo of it, but we we ate it all and very quickly.  :) It was a great day and Eric finally got to snap a picture of us... which is incredibly hard to do with three babies!

DIRTBALL

Bitty is crawling.  This means that I can no longer just set her on a blanket and she stays there and plays with her toys and such... as evidenced below.  

She decided that the dirt that I was digging in looked very exciting indeed.  I guess she takes after me and her Nana, "Queen of Dirt."  I couldn't get a good photo of it, but by the time we were done she was covered.  At this point, whenever we go outside she heads for the nearest dirt patch.  Last night she lost her balance in one of her odd crawling moves and actually went headfirst into the dirt and then rolled around in it like a little piglet.  She became furious when I picked her up and told her we were done and it was time for a bath.  

I spy

We've been assisting the neighbors in breaking in the pool for 2009 and Bitty could hardly be cuter in her swimsuit and robe!  

She likes the water and didn't even protest when Daddy nearly dunked her on accident, she thought it was kind of humorous.

Sucking on her bottom lip is a favored pastime.  

Happy Birthday Bob!  Another fine addition (the tool belt) for man cave related activities.
